Smashtech announced the beginning of construction of their new 22,000 square foot office.

In 2015, Smashtech started in a 600 square foot office with just the 2 brothers and co-founders. In 2016, Smashtech moved to their 3,000 square foot office, with 15 employees, thinking the space would sustain their growth for a few years. Not even a year after their move, they realized they would need a much bigger space to support their explosive growth.

The new office sits on the 33rd floor of the Symphony Towers in downtown San Diego and boasts of 360 views of the city with its floor to ceiling windows.

“We’re excited to begin construction on our new office,” Said Omar Imani, Co-Founder of Smashtech. “This new space will be one of the best working spaces in San Diego, and we’re designing it with our team in mind.” Smashtech is well-known for their culture and great working environment, being recognized by multiple publications like the San Diego Business Journal and Inc. Magazine as one of the best places to work in 2016 and 2017.

Anwar, Co-Founder of Smashtech, elaborates “people spend most of their time at work, so it is important to us that we foster an environment that doesn’t actually feel like work. We see productivity rise when our team members enjoy coming to work every day.”

The new space is scheduled to open its doors in September 2018.
